: About the Author :

My name is Tasha Brooke Cardwell.

In July 2010, I moved to Kansas City with my husband Chad. We are learning together what it means to put down roots and become closely connected with a community.

In August 2015, we welcomed our son Travis into the world. He was the answer to years of prayers and holding onto thin whisps of hope that we would one day be blessed to be parents. He is our miracle and brings us so much joy. 💗

I love Jesus.
I love coffee.
I love cats.
I love the Fall.
I love road trips.
I love to cook and bake.
I love a wide-variety of music and movies.
I love friends that feel like family.

I just tried to leave a comment on the misunderstood identity post, and it still didn’t have a comment form pop up…but this page did! It honestly could be China internet. And I may never be able to comment again. That kind of thing just happens. But I’ve added your blog to my reader and look forward to enjoying more of your thoughts. Whether I can reply or not :-).

I stumbled across your blog after a google search… I read through a couple of postings and I just wanted to let you know that I was really blessed by your posts… I feel like you and I have a lot of similar things going on and a lot of similar thoughts and struggles as well. Thanks for being honest. You’ve been a blessing.

    • Thank you so much for saying so! I always hope my honesty can be a blessing to someone in a world where a lot of people put on a brave front… I hope the struggles you’re going through make you a better person and that there is a light at the end of the tunnel! 🙂
